Providing the best care to our patients is paramount, Physical Therapy Plus only employs masters level Physical Therapists. Therapists are attentive professionals who strive to provide a productive and enjoyable rehabilitation.

Annette Weyrauch, MSPT

Annette received her degree in Physical Therapy in Neustadt, Germany in 1983. In 1986 she moved to the USA; in 1988 she opened her practice in Los Alamos, NM. Her specialties include treatment of lymphedema, chronic pain, neurological issues, and orthopedic cases.

Annette is a Naturopathic Doctor and has received a diploma in Iridology.

Annette speaks fluent German and enjoys conversing in and brushing up on her German skills any chance that she gets! She also enjoys karate, bicycling, hiking, and many other outdoor activities. She is a world traveler who is always happy to share her experiences around the world.

Mari Jorgensen, DPT

Mari relocated from Atlanta, GA in 2008 after a midlife career change. She has a Master’s in Business and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from GSU. She loves treating orthopedic cases, sports injuries, neurological dynamics, women’s health, and back and neck pain.

Mari is a certified yoga instructor, in her spare time she enjoys gardening, bicycling, hiking, and winter sports.

Dana Merhege, DPT

Dana was born and raised in Los Alamos, NM. She completed her BS in Kinesiology and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in NM as well. She is very connected to the community here, and believes in maximizing function and minimizing pain for all of her patients. She loves to treat adult orthopedic cases, as well as pediatric cases that are neurological or musculoskeletal in origin. Having been an adolescent multi-sport athlete, Dana identifies with adolescent injuries. She understands how crucial an appropriate recovery is, as well as the ultimate goal of a safe and successful return to sport. She is our new member of the team, joining us in 2015.

Dana enjoys yoga, hiking and spinning. She is happy to have returned to her hometown, and is looking forward to reconnecting to the outdoor recreational activities that Los Alamos has to offer.

Megan Lausen, MPT

Megan has been a physical therapist for 15 years, working with Physical Therapy Plus since 2011. She has experience in treating pediatric cases, adult and geriatric patients in a home health setting. Her focus is always to decrease her patients’ pain and improve their everyday functional strength. She is excellent with orthopedic cases, sports injuries, and adolescent patients.

Megan is married with two kids, she has lived in Los Alamos since 2011 and is originally from Chicago.
